The main building of Chuanxing Yinli Hotel was first built in the middle of the last century and was the accommodation building for foreign experts in the industrial project of Chengdu assisted by the Soviet Union. With the changing international situation, the Soviet Union withdrew its experts from
China, and the building immediately became the technical expert dormitory of Southwest Wireless Electronics Factory. It was not until the relocation of Chengdu Radio Third Factory in 2018 that the main building came to an end to the glorious and arduous historical mission that had been carried by Chengdu's industrial development for 60 years.
Chengdu Yinli Hotel Management Company took over the renovation of the building in 2021, adhering to the construction concept of "preserving history" and "repairing the old as before".
