Demonstrative of the primitive residential architectural style of the Mosuo people, the Nverguo Hotel (Nverguo Jiudian) is situated by Lugu Lake, surrounded by one of China's last historically matriarchal societies. This Lijiang hotel houses variously sized guestrooms. All standard rooms are equipped with air conditioning, closed circuit TVs and 24-hour hot water.
