The Shahanshahi Palace is nestled between the Dehradun valley and Mussoorie the picturesque location is on main Rajpur road next to the famous Sahanshai ashram and Ayurvedic College. The temperature is different from the rest of the city and even during hot summers it is pleasant. From the property there is a walking trek to the queen of the mountains, the Mussoorie standing majestically right in front of the resort view. An old track of the long lost rail with tunnels is still a testimony to the British era. An old road connects the property to the upper old nostalgic Rajpur. The distance from the clock tower is 12 km.
