Twenty years ago, Reignwood Pine Valley as originally known as an ecological wasteland and one of the five major sandstorm hazards in Beijing. In 1995, Reignwood Group started carrying out a 30 years of ecological restoration, environmental greening and landscaping construction projects. 25 million cubic meters of earth were backfilled and 33.5 million square meters of sand pits were restored. Ten million trees were planted and 320 million various seedlings were planted, with the greening rate reaching 98%.
