The boutique hotel "Chaikovsky" is a harmonious combination of elegant interiors and modern ecological design in a building where the famous composer Pyotr Ilyich Chaikovsky once created his masterpieces. He was a brilliant lyricist and a prominent representative of musical romanticism, which we have sought to reflect in the stylish decoration of the rooms. The boutique hotel "Chaikovsky" is located in a house that is a cultural heritage site. It was built over 200 years ago in the Art Nouveau style and was once owned by Prince A.P. Obolensky, Count P.I. Kutaisov, and Princess A.P. Golitsyna. The cast iron vintage staircase, which our guests ascend to reach the hotel, still "remembers" the aristocrats of that time and is part of Russia's historical heritage. Princess Golitsyna reconstructed the building into a four-story income house, which was purchased by Privy Councilor P.N. Batiushkov in 1873. In the summer of 1877, the recently married Pyotr Ilyich Chaikovsky lived in this house. Who knows, perhaps he created his musical masterpieces right in one of our rooms. It is within the walls of this house that his opera "Eugene Onegin" and other great works were born, without which it is impossible to imagine today's world musical culture.
